Feng Jing, a China-Chic from the Song Dynasty Jinhuidui Intangible Cultural Heritage Art Exhibition

At 10:00 a.m. on September 9, the autumn sky was crisp, and Xi'an Silk Road Yuecheng Cultural Industry Co., Ltd. hosted a new exhibition "China-Chic from the Song Dynasty - Fengjing Jinhuidui Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition" on the second floor of the Art Museum of Xi'an Chanba Silk Road International Cultural and Art Center.

This art exhibition fully implements the requirements of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China report on "promoting cultural confidence and self-improvement, and forging new brilliance of socialist culture", as well as the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's visit to Shaanxi, promotes the spirit of the Silk Road, practices the spirit of the "China Asia Summit Xi'an Declaration", innovates forms and concepts, and uses cultural tourism integration to support rural revitalization, profoundly reflecting the exhibition theme of "writing a new chapter of cooperation".

The art exhibition is divided into four major areas: landscape, flowers and birds, calligraphy, and cultural and creative. It delves into the inheritance and innovation of China's excellent traditional intangible cultural heritage - the art of Jin Hui Dui.

Jinhui Dui, as a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage protection project in Shaanxi Province, is the only inheritor, Ms. Feng Jing, who has been studying, excavating, and inheriting this art for decades. Jin Hui Dui originated in the Song Dynasty, and the first person to paint this kind of painting was the literati Qian Xuan. Qian Xuan accidentally piled up his collection of ancient calligraphy, paintings, letters, rubbings, and other miscellaneous scenes on his desk, and recorded them on a silk material with the signature "Jin Hui Dui Qian Xuan". No one knows why he was named Jin Hui Dui, and there is still no detailed explanation in the history of Chinese art.

Feng Jing began to learn and inherit this technique in 2015. In Feng Jing's words, "jin" refers to silk fabric, "gray" refers to various memories and records of beautiful things, and "pile" refers to the author's own composition skills. Calligraphy, painting, seal carving, and full form expansion are four essential skills that are indispensable.

At the art exhibition, renowned artists gathered and delivered speeches one by one, expressing their congratulations on the exhibition. Former Executive Vice Governor of Shaanxi Province, Xu Shanlin, wishes Feng Jing and the students to continue on the path of "promoting cultural confidence and self-improvement"!

Jinhui Dui is a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage project declared by the Baqiao District Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and relevant leaders of Baqiao District also attended and delivered opening speeches.

After nearly a decade of development, Jinhui Dui has successfully participated in non legacy cultural and creative design for major domestic and international events such as the 14th National Games of the People's Republic of China and the China Asia Summit, thanks to the efforts of Feng Jing and students. With the support of the Xi'an City Wall Management Committee, the 21st enemy building located on the south gate city wall has become the Jinhui Dui Art Museum, which is open to the public for free and showcases hundreds of cultural and creative products, forming a mature industrial development pattern. Feng Jing has stated that she will take this art exhibition as an opportunity to deepen customized cooperation and exchanges among various regions and cities, promote the deep integration of culture and tourism, accelerate the development of cultural and creative products, and help promote the high-quality development of the cultural and creative industry in the province and even the whole country.
